3 Lessons I Want To Share With You My Child
My child, read this letter whenever times feel tough. I want to always let you know that you are not alone. I may not always be at your side. You may be off to college. Perhaps you decided to live with someone. Maybe you have kids now. But, no matter how old you are and the distance spanning between us, I want you to know that you can always come back to this. I will always be your father, no matter what. I will always want the best for you, even if I may not express it in the manner I intended to.
What has been bothering you lately? Are you tired from work? Are you bogged down with so many problems? Life still confuses me even until now, but I am learning to go for the ride.

Life does not go around handing out silver spoons. Not everyone can be the firstborn. You cannot get your dream job on your first interview. Not everyone will be your friend. But do not let this unfairness wear you down. I hope it is what drives you to pursue further and to aim higher. Because it gives me great happiness seeing you get up after a fall. I know you are made of stronger stuff. I carried you on my shoulders when you were young, but I learned how to back away when you learned how to walk.
