Most of us frequently undervalue our abilities and capabilities — not intentionally, but due to our self-deprecating tendencies. You can become your own worst enemy if you take things too far. However, even a tiny amount of self-criticism might cause you to sluggishly progress and lose out on valuable possibilities. Our behaviors are a direct reflection of how we feel about ourselves! Several behaviors have been recognized as being associated with poor self-esteem.

  • Lack of Authenticity

You are always preoccupied with what other people think of you, and you have stopped caring about what you think of your abilities. The ultimate way to pleasure is to be liked by others, even if it means going against your boundaries. Because you are busy internalizing other people’s impressions of you, you constantly neglect your intuition. Because of this lack of sincerity, your self-esteem suffers as a result.

It is recommended that you develop confidence in yourself to bring out your authentic self and quit following the herd. Also, look for signs of impostor syndrome and replace them with confidence in your abilities. Finally, never stop convincing yourself that you belong here and that the world requires your unique perspective.

  • Procrastination
