Pick One Thing at a Time
When trying to accomplish multiple tasks at once, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of things that need to be done. However, if you add one more thing to your list, you’ll likely worsen your situation because now multiple items need to get done at once — which is much easier said than done. So when faced with a long list of chores, pick one thing and don’t worry about the rest until later.
Try the Pomodoro Technique
Francesco Cirillo developed the Pomodoro Technique in the late 1980s to improve productivity by breaking down large tasks into smaller chunks that could be managed during short bursts of concentrated work. The technique involves setting a timer for 25 minutes and focusing on one task until the timer rings. Then take a five-minute break and switch tasks.
