Life During the Pandemic
The COVID-19 virus has hit the public masses like a storm since its declaration as a pandemic by WHO (World Health Organization). Nobody was prepared to face this horrible catastrophe but now the only thing we can do is to cope with this dramatic change in our lives. The pandemic has affected our lives in more ways than one and it has had a huge impact on our daily routines throughout its course.
Many governments have established their own set of rules and regulations along with an extensive guide issued by WHO for our survival which should be strictly followed to counter the pandemic’s escalation and the increasing number of deaths. The most vital piece of instruction is the use of masks and hand sanitizers. These preventive measures have somewhat helped us to reduce the rising number of positive cases and deaths as COVID-19 continues its onslaught.
Avoiding social gatherings
As we all know, socializing and gatherings among people are some of the key factors for its worldwide spread, and the only way to avoid it is through social distancing. Every one of us needs to have a space of at least 6 feet or about 2 arms’ length between us as specified in the guidelines issued by WHO. We must play our part and avoid our participation in crowded places and weekly or monthly get-togethers as well as weddings.
