Tough times call for tough decisions, but how can you handle a situation you are already scared of? It is challenging because you are already in the position, but you have to find a way out. Have you ever had a challenge and wondered where your help would come from? You feel like wanting to let the whole world know of it, but then you remember that they really don’t care, and even if they did, they also have their challenges.

Asking for help is something you should never shy away from, but what do you do if you have asked and no one is willing to help, and to those who are willing, they have no capacity to? You now have yourself, and it is even worse if you have other people looking up to you, all having hope and faith that you will handle the situation well.

Let me tell you of a situation I had to face. I was terrified but had to keep my faith, trust, and willingness to keep going. I know many of you have faced such a financial situation before. I don’t know how you handled it, but I will share the three things I did and helped me face my fears.

In my final year at the university, I was preparing for my final papers that I had to sit for in just 2 weeks. But guess what? I had not completed my tuition. If I had a wealthy family member that I could run to, I would have gladly run to them and asked for help paying my tuition. That is how desperate I was at that moment. If I may ask you, how far can you go to overcome that fear?
